Separation of grain material on sieves with holes in the shape of a Cassini oval The growth of grain production in Ukraine and the increase in the amount of raw materials to the elevators, pose new challenges to representatives of production and scientists, aimed at upgrading the production capacity of the enterprise. The constant search for innovative ways to improve the processes of post-harvest processing of grain has led to the latest developments, sieves with holes in the shape of an oval Cassini. The use of sieves with holes of this geometry, instead of the classic perforation of round holes, allows to increase the capacity of the sieve. The problem is solved by a variable cross-section of the holes, this gives the particles of material room for maneuver, which reduces the jamming in the holes to a minimum. The efficiency of sieves with holes in the shape of an oval Cassini is confirmed by tests of the State Scientific Institution "Ukrainian Research Institute for Forecasting and Testing of Machinery and Technologies for Agricultural Production named after L. Pogorily" The team of scientists includes: -PJSC Kharkiv feed mill - chief engineer VO Mezentsev -Kharkiv National Technical University of Agriculture named after P. Vasilenko - Ph.D. VV Bredikhin, graduate student SR Tikunov. -Institute of problems of mechanical engineering named after A.M. Pidgorny National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine - Ph.D. N.V. Smetankina.
